VAN VOTZ has conducted extensive research to develop advanced formulations that give our products the strength to protect wood from severe outdoor weather including rain, snow, sun and mold while also having an environmentally friendly water-based composition.
VAN VOTZ products are suitable for all types of wood including hardwoods, softwood, pressure-treated wood, exotic wood, wood siding and log homes
No, VAN VOTZ products are not designed to be applied together with other stains or coatings.
VAN VOTZ WATERPROOFING WOOD SEALER offers far superior protection in areas of sun exposure as the formulation makes it naturally resistant to UV rays. Polyurethane cures into a hard plastic film that can split or crack, whereas VAN VOTZ forms a flexible film allowing wood to expand and contract that is more suited to wood in outdoor conditions.
Durability depends on the type of wood, weather exposure and the thickness and number of coats. Typically, you should reapply every 2-4 years.
